R&D and Process Development has become a basic service that has been requested by our customers.

Usually, a customer knows what to automate and how they want to automate it, but certain companies and laboratories,  and typically contract manufactures that receive a contract to produce a new line for their clients will contact us to assist them in developing a solution to meet their specific needs. Especially when they are expanding into new markets or have never worked with a certain product, material, or process before.

Using the latest 3D modeling software which we update yearly or when a new revision is available and using advanced simulation programs to prove time, space, process, output and quality requirements are all meet before any fabrication begins is a critical step in the process development.


ICE provides prototypes and proof of concepts to accelerate our process development, mitigate risks, and avoid as many surprises as possible in the development of our equipment.

ICE  ROBOTICS has full access to Fanuc laboratories and robots across the U.S.A.
If necessary, to prove that the system works as required by the customer.


ICE ROBOTICS SYSTEMS has experience integrating robots from the smallest Delta/spyder robots, that lifts a few grams to the larger Fanuc articulate arm robots, that lifts hundreds of pounds. We are capable of integrating all ancillary systems to include, but not limited to:

•  Feeders/Parts dispensing (Bowl feeders, Flex feeders, custom magazine feeders, etc.)

While having the ability to design and integrate complicated systems is very important for any good integrator, few tend to stick around after the final funds have been paid, but there are times when the warranty needs to be exercised or lifecycle support is needed.

ICE is there as needed, increasing your overall OEE and reducing your investment on technical personnel  by assisting with the following:
